I'm a little more at ease. Apparently fake trees are mostly recyclable. AND, when you cut down a real tree there's a rumor that they have to plant three more. Anyone know where I can find the references to both of those?

I would think that most of the places where you but real trees are doing it as a yearly buisness. So everytime they cut down a tree, it wouldn't make sense not to replace it with at least one seedling, else they go out of buisness.
